Eli Smith is a committed and energetic entrepreneur who was born in Elmira, NY. He is following in the footsteps of his parents, who were successful business owners for more than 40 years. In 2012 he began SGTR, formally known as So Gone Trash Removal. He made a start by cleaning and removing trash from basements and attics. Now, he owns SGTR and E. He most recently was awarded the 2019 National Harriet Tubman Award from Sean embodiment of the lauded characteristics that made Harriet Tubman who she was.
His community involvement includes sitting on the boards of the Syracuse Boys and Girls Clubs, The Association of Builders and Contractors(Empire State Chapter), and the Urban Business Association of Syracuse.
