Susan Crossett

Susan M. Crossett is a successful corporate executive, advocate, and change management strategist, with a passion for mission, governance, and sustainability. She is the owner and CEO of CPS Recruitment, a privately-held firm that delivers customized recruiting solutions and staffing services to businesses in New York and throughout the U.S. She leads the development of the company’s short and long-term strategy and manages the overall operations and resources of the company. Susan places special emphasis on building and maintaining strong community relationships.

Before acquiring CPS Recruitment, Susan was the President and CEO of Partners in Franciscan Ministries, where she provided fiscal supervision and transformative leadership to ensure the long-term viability of each of the ministries including hospitals, long term care facilities, day cares and a school among them. She also evaluated each of the ministries for compliance with rigorous corporate governance standards, and fulfillment of the corporation’s mission.

In addition, Susan worked for Harris Beach, PLLC as a Corporate Strategy and Public Affairs Advisor to the energy clients of Harris Beach.

Prior to Harris Beach, Susan held several roles at National Grid U.S. and Niagara Mohawk, an international electricity and gas company that is one of the largest investor-owned energy companies in the world. Her positions included Vice President of US Economic Development and Community Investment, Vice President of Energy Solutions Services, and Vice President of Public Affairs.

Susan serves on a number of boards including Nascentia Health and CenterState CEO. She is a founding and active member of the Circle of Red which supports the American Heart Association. Susan holds an MA degree in Public Administration and a BA degree in Political Science from Syracuse University, as well as numerous professional certifications.
