United States Navy Veteran, Syracuse University Student & Recent hire at Micron Technology

I was born on April 9, 1992, and spent the first 21 years of my life growing up in Queens, New York City. In November 2013, I enlisted into the United States Navy as a Nuclear Electronics Technician. I trained for a year in Goose Creek, SC on electronic systems’ operations and maintenance. Following that, I moved onto more training and then became an instructor at Nuclear Prototype in Ballston Spa, NY. Here, I contributed to the qualification of roughly 130 nuclear-trained sailors. In 2017, I was stationed in Newport News, Virginia on the PCU MONTANA, a nuclear submarine that was under construction in the shipyard. I served onboard the MONTANA until I separated in December 2021. I opted to return to higher education at Syracuse University to pursue my Bachelor’s of Science degree in electrical engineering with a minor in computer science. I am currently interning in the semiconductor manufacturing industry at Micron Technology in Manassas, VA.I serve as the treasurer of the Student Veteran Organization at Syracuse University, as well as a volunteer Big Brother with Big Brothers and Sisters of America. In my spare time I enjoy walking, sports and watching sitcoms with my wife, Enesa.
