Jamie Lyn Perry is an Assistant Professor of Management at Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. Her research focuses on how to lead effective organizational teams, with a specific interest in diversity, power and status structures, and conflict management. Current research explores the temporal effects of diversity, the relationship between diversity and social systems, and insights into how teams can cooperate and collaborate across divisions. Jamie has published research in Personnel Psychology, American Psychologist, Psychological Bulletin and Academy of Management Annals. Her work has received international media attention, with coverage from BBC World News, Time Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times, among others. She has received awards for her research from the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the Academy of Management. Jamie holds a B.S. in psychology from the University of Houston, an M.A. in psychology, and a Ph.D. in organization management from Rutgers University.
