From leaders of community organizations and small businesses to nationally recognized keynote speakers, My Dream Summit will provide time, space and opportunity for small business owners, those committed to supporting them and the community at large to celebrate resilience, unity, and social consciousness. This year’s Dream Summit will be one of the largest community and economic development events in Central New York focused on leveling the playing field for marginalized business owners throughout the state.
The Summit and complementary events will be held on Saturday, August 27th at the OnCenter in downtown Syracuse, NY and Sunday, August 28th at Drumlins Country Club in Syracuse, NY. I am humbled by the unbelievable support of the 2019 inaugural Dream Gala. Our Dream Team—the Steering Committee—and I are excited to embark on an even more impactful and transformative 2- day community and economic development summit combined with dancing, fun, ample networking opportunities and the making of new partnerships and friendships.
The objective of the Dream Summit is to empower and bring awareness to businesses in historically disenfranchised cities. Breakout session topics will cover social and economic justice issues, promote community development, usher in small business triumphs and spur economic change.
