Juhanna Rogers, PhD. is a motivational speaker, commentator, artist, and education activist currently residing in Central New York. Standing at 6’3 Juhanna is Striking and commands the room and dance floor as a Model. trained modern dancer. Writer. Director and Producer of live performances and film projects her talents are versatile and influential to audiences and her casts.

Today, Juhanna is returning to her artistic roots in the New York and New Jersey area.

As a native of Newark, New Jersey, Dr. Rogers has a commitment to social justice, education, and the arts, having grownup in a diverse and resource rich environment. Dr. Rogers earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Integrative Arts from Penn State University – Altoona. While at Penn State, she wrote, directed, and produced artistic performances that celebrated Black history and culture. Her work in theater earned her Central Pennsylvania NAACP Woman of the Year at the age of 20.

Upon graduation, Dr. Rogers sought a career in higher education and went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University. In 2010, Dr. Rogers returned to Indiana University to pursue her doctorate in higher education. In 2016, Juhanna and seven other colleagues made institutional history at Indiana University by being the largest group of Black women to graduate simultaneously in the School of Education. The group of women gained national attention and were deemed The Great8. The Great8 made 2016 Ebony Magazine’s Power 100list. Completing her degree and having a national platform brought Juhanna back to the arts!
